The Cardinals started their final homestand last night in a typical fashion for this year. The game went back and forth until the 7th inning when the bullpen fell apart. The Reds scored 8 runs in the final 3 innings to win 11-6. I lost interested after the top of the 9th and scanned some cards for today's post. First up are 3 cards from member T206.
I will always be a Big City Adams fan. Great guy who hit some big home runs for the Cardinals.
Earlier today I saw that the Natural Robert Redford passed away. Similar to Roy Hobbs, Duncan was a lefty who could hit the ball a long way. Sadly he passed away in 2019 at 38 years old due to cancer.
The minor league nerd in me loves Team Best cards. This 1997 card features the old Louisville Redbirds logo.
The second trade package came from member Sloedog.
If I see any Topps gold cards in dime boxes at card shows, I always grab them in hopes of trading for Cardinals I need. This trade worked just like that. The 2015 Update Peralta features a Pujols camo during his Angels tenure.
Sepia is not one of my favorite refractor versions. I need more color to my cards.

Wasn't familiar with Mr. Duncan, but it's always sad to hear about someone passing away at such a young age.
