Not Even Close

I was beyond excited last week when a Ray Lankford card I needed was listed on EBAY.  Better yet it was a 1/1 from 1998 Flair.  I knew it was going to be expensive, but had no idea it would go for what it did.

At that price I may have to consider listing some of my Lankford 1/1s.

  1. Ugh, I hate when that happens. Player collecting is rough!

  2. I just bought my first true 1/1 (I do have one of those Honus Bonus 1/1s which are kind of sketchy). It's a Matt Harvey, and I paid about $20 with shipping, which for me is a lot to spend on a card. But looking at what someone paid for that Lankford makes me feel a lot better about my purchase!

    1. I would have to double check, but I believe the most I have paid for any Lankford was $35-$40. I bid more than that on this card, but was not even close.
