It is one day closer to the weekend but another day of uncertainty with regards to the weather. The same forecast that called for 2 inches of snow yesterday now calls for 6 on Friday and 4 more on Sunday. One thing for certain is it is going to be cold. Starting Sunday the high temperature will not be above 20 for 3 days. Sure does not feel like a Winter Warm Up.
Enough of weather complaining. Time to show off a couple of TCDB trades. First is a nice batch of 2023 Cardinals from member GoldenEagles555.
I am getting closer to finishing A&G. Only the Jordan Walker RC and 6 short prints to go. Good thing the sp's are not that rare.
I was able to add a nice Walker insert from 2023 Topps Update. I am a big fan, but I would not really call him of Star of MLB just yet.
Second trade package also contained some 2023 Cardinals. This one came from member stdolan1.
My 2023 Archives set is now complete minus the variations. Nice to cross a set off the list.
Keeping with the Archives theme is this Altuve for my son's collection. He had a hard time trying to figure out what set it was from.
My 2022 Chrome Platinum Anniversary set should be done later this week as long as another trade does not get lost in the mail. Even though it does not contain any short prints, it has been slow in finishing this 20-card set.
