TCDB 2 for Tuesday #158

I missed last week's 2 for Tuesday post.  I had the cards scanned and ready to go, but ran out of time that day.  I was too busy at work to post during my break, and I had a birthday party to attend that night.  I was too lazy to make two posts, so today is the day to finally show off some cards that I have had for a few weeks.  The first package came from member sgill08.

I hope we have not seen the last of Scott in a Cardinals uniform.  He is playing winter ball and hitting somewhat better.  How well that translates to MLB will remain to be seen.

I would bet we have seen the last of Pages.  With Leo Bernal and Jimmy Crooks both better offensive options and equal to Pages on defense, there is no reason for the Cardinals to carry him on the roster.  Ivan Herrera can serve as a third catcher.

I am not sure when Allen & Ginter started to include a chrome parallel for the mini cards, but I do like it a little more than the base.  It never hurts when you have a Hall of Famer on the card.

The second package came from member rastronomicals.

It has been awhile since I added a new McGwire to my collection.  This one makes 824 different cards of his.

All three cards in this trade were from the Bowman Chrome line.  The 1997 International refractor Looper has a strange light spot on his face.  Not sure if that is a product of aging, or if the card was pulled from a pack like that.
